It began with the idea of what to do with all our beach badges from years past. If you are not from NJ you will not understand...but, we pay to get on our beaches and locals and those who frequent the Jersey Shore purchase a seasonal beach badge. Many collect them...some don't. But, those who collect them generally display them. Some in a jar, some on an old hat and so on. My husband and I together created a wood sign that resembled a beach badge to display ours. It was loved by many locally and I began making them with requests for different shapes, sizes, more wire, different sayings and graphics.
From there Saltwater Coastal Designs was born and I began filling my Etsy shop with all things coastal. My love for the beach inspires me and you can find many signs in my shop with beach-y sayings and a coastal flair.
